Jewelry Design Studio will clean and inspect your jewelry at no charge. This preventative maintenance allows us to find worn or damaged areas, such as worn prongs or loose stones. By repairing these areas before a stone is lost or damaged you save the cost of the stone replacement. In many cases you save additional money by rebuilding areas of metal work before they break through completely. This applies to many items like clasps and bails where a worn component could fail and cause you to loose the piece. In addition to free cleaning we will add a light polish to your piece if requested at no charge. More extensive refinishing may also be done at a nominal charge.
